Eucalyptus trees often grow on limestone mountains in mountainous areas about 300 m high or steep sections. Is a water-loving plant, often growing on yellow-gray, brownish rocks. 

Around the world, the tree is found scatteredly in a number of countries in southern China, India and Nepal.

In our country, this plant is also found scattered in some provinces, especially the mountainous provinces in the North of our country such as: Lang Son, Tuyen Quang, Cao Bang, Dien Bien Phu, ...
