  • Barbiturates, Rifampin, Hydantoin, Carbamazepine, Sulfinpyrazone.
  • Ethanol Alcohol.
  • Activated charcoal.
  • MAO inhibitors.

  • Atropine sulfate.
  • Ergonovin maleate.
  • Furosemide or other diuretics.

Notes when using Tiffy Dey

  • Note that impaired liver function, such as hepatotoxicity and severe liver failure, occurs in chronic alcoholics when therapeutic doses are used. 
  • Warning for chronic alcoholics: do not take more than 2 g a day.
  • The anticholinergic effect of antihistamines can thicken secretions and make expectoration difficult, so they are not indicated for the treatment of lower respiratory symptoms such as asthma.
  • Avoid concomitant use with sedatives and CNS depressants in patients with a history of sleep apnea .
  • For the elderly: Tiffy Dey may cause dizziness, fainting, hypotension and confusion in the elderly. The dose can be reduced if needed.
  • Patients at the end of pregnancy or about to give birth can cause fetal hypoxia and slow fetal heart rate because the drug causes uterine contractions and reduces the rate of blood circulation in the uterus.
